Soke Felix Revette

Soke Revette started (combat) Karate in the Army in 1954. Over the years he worked out in different karate schools where ever he was stationed or living.

In 1979 Soke Revette became involved with Tatsudo Karate under Sensi William Seibert and Shihan William Cavalier and received his Black Belt in 1987. Sensei Seibert would later rejoin with Soke Revette under Genki Ryu Do and become Soke Dai.

Soke also studied Aikido and in the late 80s became involved in Taichi Chuan (Chen Style).

Soke studied under Master Judy Steigler(7th Dan) Hayabusai Karate and received 2nd Degree Black Belt.

After years of disappointment in Martial Arts programs, Soke Revette founded Genki Ryu Do in 1993.

Soke Revette became involved in Emperors Long Fist Kung Fu (Tai Tzu Chang Chen), an ancient art founded around 960 AD by emperor Chao Juang-Yin, and in 1998 was recognized by the Chinese Martial Arts System, crossranked tested and accepted by Sifu David Kash. Sifu Kash promoted Soke Revette to 8th Dan.

Soke Revette has also been recognized by the Cloud Forest Chin Woo organization and recieved a lifetime certificate and was asked to be a board member of the International Hanshi Founders Society. After the Hanshi Founders' Board examination, Soke Revette recieved an internationally recognized 10th degree Red Belt.

Soke Revette achieved Red Belt Status in Genki Ryu Do in 2000.

Soke Revette has a specialty with the cane and has put on several clinics with the cane defense.

Soke Revette is also a registered Pranic Healer and Pranic Phsychotherapist. Pranic Healing was created by Master Choa Kok Sui from the Philippines. Pranic methods heal with the control of energy.

1999 - Doctorate in Martial Arts from Cloud Forest Martial Arts Association

2000 - Silver Life Achievement Award from the the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Fredrick, Maryland

June 2001 - Inducted in World Wide Martial Arts Hall of Fame along with David Carradine, Cynthia Rothrock, Don the Dragon Wilson and Grand Master Pan Qing Fu. Soke was recognized as Grand Master of the Year

June 9, 2001 to 2002 - Board of Directors, World Wide Martial Artist Board of Directors

Aug 6, 2001 - Certificate of Appointment, as a Senior Advisor for International Matsumura Seito Society

Aug 18, 2001 - Granted Lifetime Membership, International Matsumura Seito Society by Supreme Grand Master Soke Dave Shelton, 10th Dan
