Professor Bill Rankin


Supreme Grandmaster Bill Rankin is a 10th Degree Black Belt of the Uchuno Shorin-ryu Karate Style. On April 1, 2001 He became a International Matsumura Seito Society Senior Advisor Lifetime member.

In 2001 the International Matsumura Seito Society awarded him the Grasshopper Award (Supreme Grandmaster of the Year.)

The World Head of Family Sokeship Council 2000 International Martial Artist Hall of Fame inducted him into their "Founder's Award". He has been a Member of the World Head of Family Sokeship Council since September 2000.

1998 World Karate Union Hall of Fame Inductee as Grand Master of the Year.

In 1988 World Karate Grand Champion. He Began training in hand to hand combat in 1965, and in 1967 began studying jungle warfare.

Mr. Rankin has also studied, Shito-ryu, Jujitsu, Tang Soo Do, Tae Kwon Do, Escrima, Tai Chi, Kenpo, Kempo, Iaido, Judo, Aikido and several styles of Kung Fu.

He has been a Trainer of several police officers in Maryland, North Dakota, California, New Mexico, Texas and Florida. As of July 2002 he became an Elite Member of PLIMSHOF.
