The musical groups led by Kevin Hart have, since 1993, explored many avenues of jazz. This current incarnation draws upon a broad repertoire that spans the eclectic history of his groups. With this versatile band you can always expect to hear nostalgic standards, tunes from the spicy Latin Jazz Quintet days, tasty contemporary jazz, and fresh originals from Kevin's latest CD, "The Road to Everywhere," which was chosen by WGLT's Laura Kennedy as a 2005 recommended release.
The band, along with Kevin on vibes, includes guitarist Mike Nellas, pianist Adam Wilhelm, bassist Tim Brickner, and Donovan Hill on drums.
