Dave Parkinson and Friends, introducing vocalist Maureen Resler, have appeared at the Jazz Society programs and performed in other venues around the area for many years. They will provide a lively evening of jazz with a
rhythm and blues flavor. Dave leads the group on sax. In addition, Dave Parkinson and Friends include vocalist Maureen Resler, Steve Degenford on guitar, Mike Nellas on bass, and Dr. Bob McEntyre on drums. Come out and enjoy a great evening of jazz with Dave Parkinson and Friends, one of the most popular musical groups in Central Illinois.
The Central Illinois Jazz Society House Band will perform during the middle set, under the leadership of Larry Harms. The CIJS House Band features outstanding jazz musicians from the area. They will entertain you with a mixture of jazz styles. This talented group is the heart of our monthly jazz offerings for the jazz fans of Central Illinois. We are grateful to them for their variety of live jazz offerings. Come out and support them.
