Eddie and Judy Howard Trio

The Central Illinois Jazz Society presents
Eddie and Judy Howard Trio
6:00 & 8:30 p.m.
Sunday, November 17, 2002
Jumer's Castle Lodge (in the Mozart Room), Peoria

You may have heard Judy and Eddie Howard at Jim's Steak House piano bar. Now come and have some fun with them as a trio. They will perform a mix of rhythm and blues, and jazz. Their music will be centered around the Hammond B3 organ sounds of Jimmy McGriff and Jack McDuff, which you often hear on WGLT.

Eddie will play guitar and do vocals, while Judy will play the Hammond B3 organ and maybe some piano. Mike Krusa rounds out the trio on drums. There may also be another guest artist to join them. They play regularly at Jim's Downtown on Tuesdays, at Martini's on Thursdays, and at Jim's Bistro on Friday and Saturday. .

The Central Illinois Jazz Society House Band, featuring outstanding jazz musicians from the area, will entertain you with a mixture of jazz styles. This talented and versatile group, led by Larry Harms, is the heart of our monthly jazz program for the jazz fans of Central Illinois. We are grateful to the House Band for their variety of live jazz offerings. Come out and support them - you'll enjoy it.
