The Kevin Hart Quartet opens our jazz evening with straight ahead jazz. They will perform some classic pieces as well as some original jazz. Kevin Hart, vibraphonist, is the leader of the group. Jeff Magby on drums, Mike Nellas on guitar, and Tim Brickner on bass, round out the quartet.

The Kevin Hart Latin Jazz Quintet consists of the quartet members plus Dean Klinker on congas. The group did not want to give up the sophistication and improvisational nature of jazz. This led them to forge their favorite elements of jazz with the Latin rhythms. Their sound and style are unique to Central Illinois. You'll enjoy the sounds of the Quartet and the Quintet.

The Central Illinois Jazz Society House Band, featuring outstanding jazz musicians from the area, will entertain you with a mixture of jazz styles. This talented group is led by Larry Harms and is the heart of our monthly jazz offerings for the jazz fans of Central Illinois. We are grateful to them for their variety of live jazz offerings. Come out and support them.
